Monthly run-down: July

So. Big month, huh?

160 pages of brand new, in-continuity Duck Avenger content. Who would have frickin' thought we'd ever see that day?

Hopefully the Italian comics were as resounding a success as they deserve to be. I've done what I could - some friends of my family were going to Italy for the summer, so I've asked them to bring me back as many issues as they could. If anybody learns of some other way of supporting the comics, please let us know in the comments. (I'm currently wondering if the comics can be purchased digitially somehow, if you manage to convince your computer that it's Italian.)

And of course, if you see the new comics being brought to your own country, be sure to mention it in the comments, so we can spread the word.

I suppose that's about all we can do for now. And of course, we're all just itching to read the new comics in a language we actually understand.

Well, Uncle Banker has you covered.

It's a good time to be a PK fan.

  2. Sadly, Topolino in digital form is available only as subscription, not single issues

  3. Single numbers of Topolino are buyable by the apps Topolino (official) and abbonamenti.it (=subscription.it) for iPhone; I think they exists for Android too.

  4. I call the new AI either Omega or Zero.
IMO either would fit - Omega, because of the room we first see him in, and Zero because of the cold attitude.

  8. There is something i don't understand, (sorry for my poor English i'm french^^). Is this PK New Era the English translation of Paperinik Appgrade? Or are them two separate storylines of our favorite Duck Avenger? Thanks for the translation, i'm really glad to read new adventures of PK.

    1. Paperinik AppGrade: monthly with reprints of older stories and new stories starring the "classic" Paperinik.
Recently, it did feature a saga called "Universo PK", basically a "what if?" using classic Paperinik vs PKNA enemies

PK New Era is the official canonical sequel of PKNA\PK². It's a 4-parts story published on the weekly "Topolino".

  9. Thank you very much Banker for the new translation of PK New Era - and for the translations of Pikappa also. New Era has the style of the first PKNA issues, and that style was great!Back to the roots.
